A Home Condition Report (HCR) is similar to an MOT for your car. It provides potential buyers with detailed information concerning the physical condition of the property.
What is an EPC?
The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) grades the energy efficiency of your property. The EPC is mandatory within a HIP and it is also required by private landlords offering a new tenancy agreement.
What is a HIP?
Home Information Packs (HIPs) contain a full set of documents:
- an EPC
- a HCR
- standard searches, land registry and legal summaries
